Terms of use

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This English version is provided for convenience. The French version is the legally binding one and prevails in case of discrepancy: read it in French.

1. Purpose

These general terms of use (the "Terms of Use", in French "CGU") govern the use of Flopilot, published by Flopix, the trading name of the sole proprietorship (entreprise individuelle) operated by Vincent PIERNOT, whose place of business is at 3 rue Amiral Guépratte, 57070 Metz, France, registered with the Metz Trade and Companies Register (RCS de Metz) under number 928 185 420 ("Flopix"). They apply to anyone who creates an account, whether they are the owner of an organisation, an administrator, a member or a guest. Creating an account means accepting the Terms of Use. Taking out a subscription is also governed by the Terms of Sale.

2. Account

Your account is personal: one account per person, with a valid email address that you confirm. You choose a strong password and keep it secret. Two-factor authentication (one-time code) is available and strongly recommended; it may be required for certain accounts. You must be of legal age, or use Flopilot with the consent of your legal guardian. Let us know right away at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account.

3. Organisations, projects and roles

Projects are grouped into organisations. Each person has a role there:

A role can also be given on a single project. An organisation without an active subscription switches to read-only mode; nothing in it is deleted.

4. Invitations and sharing

Only invite people who have a legitimate reason to join the project. What you share becomes visible to the people who have access to the project: check what you share, and with whom. The owner and administrators can remove access at any time.

5. Your content

You remain the owner of your content (tasks, notes, drawings, documents, comments, links). You grant Flopix only the right to host it, display it to the people who have access to the project and process it technically (previews, reading documents, search) in order to provide you with the Service, for as long as the Service is provided.

The Flopilot team does not access the content of your projects: it only sees the overall figures needed to run the Service, unless you ask it to help you (support) or upon a lawful request from an authority. You are responsible for your content and guarantee that you have the right to upload it.

6. Prohibited uses

7. Artificial intelligence

The AI features are optional. They use Claude, Anthropic's AI, with your own API key, which you save in Flopilot (where it is stored encrypted). When you run an AI action, the text concerned (note, document extract, tasks) is sent to Anthropic with your key, under your responsibility and subject to Anthropic's terms. Do not send data you are not entitled to share. AI responses may be inaccurate: review them before using them.

8. Connections to other services

You can connect the applications of the Flopix family (to display their data in your dashboards). You then authorise Flopilot to read the data strictly necessary for this. You can remove a connection at any time from Flopilot, and also from the service concerned.

9. Availability and changes

Flopix keeps developing Flopilot (new features, improvements) and may modify or withdraw some features where necessary, notifying the users concerned when an important feature is involved. The Service may be interrupted for maintenance.

10. Suspension

Flopix may suspend an account or remove content that does not comply with these Terms of Use or the law, after a warning except in an emergency (manifestly illegal content, threat to security). To report content: [email protected].

11. Deleting your account

You can request the deletion of your account at any time by writing to [email protected] from your account's email address. If you own an organisation, first transfer ownership to someone else or also request the deletion of the organisation. Your data is erased within thirty (30) days, except where the law requires it to be kept (invoices).

12. Changes and governing law

The Terms of Use may change; significant changes are announced by email or in Flopilot. The Terms of Use are governed by French law.
